Group Project #3

Today, me and my group did our scenes. I was very nervous about the my scene. I knew that my actors will do good, but I was scared of how the audience will like it. But overall the actors did really well, a lot better than i expect. It also seemed like the audience really enjoyed the scene. In the other scene that my group had, i felt like my other director also did a very good job. Her scene was very emotional and kept the audience attention. Everyone was very quiet during the scene, which really showed that everyone felt what was happening in the scene. One thing that i liked was one of my actors(the nervous one) played really well, he looked like he really was worried and just wanted to get out of there, which really made the scene. Overall they both did good in both scenes. I really liked this project because it got the class to use their imagination on the scripts and was very interesting to watch. I think my favorite scene was the one with the soldiers because they built up to the climax and really caught my attention during the whole scene. But everyone did really good on their projects and wish we can do it again in the future!

Group Project #2

After seeing all the other groups go, it had really made me think about my script and what i had earlier. I changed some stuff in my scene. I changed the robbery scene from being angry at each other from one being more worried, while the other is more relaxed and i think that will be better. The other director changed a small part of the scene, where instead of one of the character talking to a doctor, the doctor would be a friend who is crying. I feel like that made both scenes better and more believable. Even with these last minute changes, the actors really did the scene well during rehearsal. I hope the audience will really like these changes.

Group Project

On Thursday, me and my group members practiced our scenes. Jared and Ish really did there parts good at the end of the day. At first, they couldn't stop laughing, but after awhile they started to get more into character. They were to remember most of their lines. I also liked the way they acted out our scenes, they really did it well. I think they did the robbery scene better than the father and son one, but both were good. I know for sure they will just get better more they practice.
