Project

I think the most interesting piece of information learned from the videos today, was that the Blue Man Group was once street performers. I would never believe that a group that use to perform on the streets made it this big in Las Vegas. The group that did the Blue Man Group I think did the most creative way to teach us aboue them. They even colored themseleves blue and even shaved there heads for the project, that is dedication. What I also liked about their project was that they did not only do the project in the school area, but also went out into the streets, where the Blue Man Group orignated. What I learned about my project is that you do not need a script to start something, but all you really need is a subject. Also that not all theatre/movies need actors, but can make a movie from this facts and interviews.

Nonscripted Theatre

Reading about Nonscripted Theatre in Chapter 11 of the book really caught my attention. When i saw that improv was in Who Line Is It Anyways? it caught my attention because i use to always watch that shown when i was a kid, it was so funny. What i really like about improv is that nothing is prepared before and everything they are doing are just popping up in their heads at that time. I also like it because all the performances they do will be different and you will usually never see the same thing twice. Nothing is predictable in improv, you will always be wondering what will happen next. What i also like about Nonscripted theatre is the playback theatre part of it. I find it pretty cool, that they are able to recreate the past experience of a audience member only with a basic outline of it. Nonscripted Theatre seem very cool because you are always at the edge of your seat while watching it and it will never be the same twice.
